Teledyne Instruments - Test Services (TTS) maintains a Quality Assurance Program that is structured on the requirements of the Federal Code of Regulation, Title 10, Part 50, Appendix B (10CFR50 App. B). The program adopts 10CFR-21, Reporting Defects and Non Compliance and the American National Standards Institute and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Standards N45.2 and NQA-1. The TTS Quality Assurance program is invoked on all projects and tasks that are classified by TTS as safety related. The program meets all of the requirements of the nuclear power industry for both safety related and commercial grade products. The current QA Program Manual is Revision 2, dated May 01, 2008. Any TTS response to a customer’s verbal or written request for quotation/proposal, when no standards, codes or regulations are noted or referenced, is to be considered a commercial quote/proposal. TTS classifies individual products, components, and/or services as safety related and/or commercial grade. TTS manufactures many commercial products. Verification and validation process results may be used to classify these same products as safety related. Quality Assurance Manager Thomas M.
